Authentic Greek Salad

Fresh, simple, and authentically Greek — elevated with Simply Greek Foods Salad Spice.

Ingredients

  • 4 medium ripe tomatoes, cut into wedges

  • 1 large cucumber, peeled and sliced into half-moons

  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced

  • ½ cup Kalamata olives

  • 6 oz (170g) block of feta cheese (preferably in brine)

  • 2–3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

  • 1 tbsp red wine vinegar (optional, for extra tang)

  • 2 tsp Simply Greek™ Greek Salad Spice

Instructions

  1. Prep the Vegetables

    • Place the tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion in a large serving bowl.

  2. Add the Olives & Feta

    • Scatter the Kalamata olives over the vegetables.

    • Place the block of feta cheese on top, or crumble the feta.

  3. Season & Dress

    • Mix the olive oil and Simply Greek™ Greek Salad Spice for at least 15-20 min. Then apply it to the salad.

    • Add red wine vinegar or half of a squeezed lemon for an extra tang.

  4. Serve

    • Toss gently at the table just before eating, or let guests mix as they serve themselves.

    • Pair with warm pita bread or as a side to grilled meats.
